Sounds like something that could be made into an anime, though I'm sure the twist would be revealed even with extremely subtle hints (memories of people deciphering Madoka's runes and knowing of Homura's ability weeks before episode 10). The hints in Resonance seem to be those that are just subtle enough to avoid careful thought but pronounced enough to slowly add up together....

P.S. It's Dr. Morales's, not Dr. Morales', unless Dr. Morales is secretly two or more people.

The way it's told in the original post is definitely better than my dinky summary that I had to hurry along for my post, haha. But, yeah, I can relate -- I think we've all done little things in the past that have made people uncomfortable even thought it wasn't our intention. Like, maybe the act itself isn't so bad, but the lack of self-awareness makes it worse. I think with time anyone decent develops enough self-awareness to know when not to cross the line with stuff like that.

That story point is definitely the biggest reveal, although there's more to the story after that. If you like point-and-click adventure games, I'd still say it's worth playing, although maybe you'd like to wait for a sale or something. It's $10 right now, and I thought that was a good price. Took me about seven hours to beat. But of course I don't know if it would hold up knowing the biggest twist in the game since I've just beat it once and haven't had time to go back and get the second ending.

Wow, that original post was fascinating, if rather grim. Perhaps seeing the events firsthand might make that dude’s actions seem the result of awkwardness, but as a summary it certainly doesn’t come across that way. I spotted The Question straight away, although I’m not sure whether I should be relieved for seeing potential warning signs, or rather depressed that I would automatically see the worst in people.

I’ve sorta been on the wrong side of that story once, having left my phone at the house of someone I’d only met that day. It was completely innocent, but as I returned in the evening, when she was alone, I was rather shocked by how uncomfortable my sudden appearance made her. How did she know I hadn’t deliberately left my phone as an excuse to return later? I really should have left it for another day or for it to be returned to me. Naturally the situation was straightened out in time, but it was a real wakeup call when asking myself how certain actions could be viewed by others. It brings a whole new meaning to the phrase “devil’s in the details”.

Anyway, depressing tangent aside, is Resonance still worth playing even knowing that twist, or it that pretty much its one and only big reveal?

Ps: What about the Cart Driver?

.... I’ll get my coat.

Basically. I don't think I've ever been actively misogynist (well, unless you count being a shitty middle schooler, which I don't, because ALL middle schoolers are awful), but there's definitely lots of stuff I never considered or thought about due to the ol' personal lens. Looking at the way I consider things now compared to high school (or even college, really), it's an ENORMOUS difference.

I am a horrible person, but my first thought after reading this was "doesn't the dude in Twilight creep into her room at night and watch her as she sleeps?". Although I suppose that's rather similar to loser males like ourselves sympathising with the socially awkward male. We don't see the rape culture because of our own personal lens
